2021 Toyota Tacoma
2021 Toyota Tacoma
The word ‘Taco’ can mean two things in America- the Mexican wrap with vegetarian or meat fillings, and the nickname for the Toyota Tacoma. Yes, that’s how the pickup truck is lovingly called by its fans. This beefy looking vehicle is available with a spectacular automatic gearbox. It is a perfect alternative for someone who find it cumbersome to handle a full size pickup truck.
Trims Available:
The 2021 Toyota Tacoma can be purchased in one of the following six trim levels across dealerships in America:
- SR (best work pickup)
- SR5
- TRD Pro
- Limited
- TRD Off-Road
- TRD Sport
TRD is the name given to the performance-oriented versions of the Tacoma. The vehicle can be customized as per drivetrains, bed sizes, and cab sizes. Interestingly, Toyota offers 32 different configurations for the 2021 Tacoma.
Exterior Appearance:
It is easy to equate the 2021 Toyota Tacoma with a large member of the cat family that is about to pounce. Brand new LED headlights are visible on the vehicle, lending it a futuristic look. Customers will like the heated outside power mirrors that are available from the SR trim itself. Along with the headlights, the taillight designs also look aggressive.
Expect to find 20 inch wheels on the Limited Nightshade variant and with 16 inch TRD Pro black alloy wheels on the TRD Pro. A large gap between the fenders and the wheels helps during off-roading. The truck bed in the Nightshade edition gets a liner.
Engine Details:
Customers will get to see the 2021 Toyota Tacoma with two powertrain options. The first amongst these is a 2.7 liter engine which produces 159 hp of power and 180 lbs.-ft of torque. If this does not seem adequate, there is a more powerful option- a 3.5 liter V6 engine with 278 hp of power and 265 lbs.-ft of torque. Two transmission options are also available- a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. Those who need to drive frequently on difficult terrains should choose the manual transmission.
RWD (Rear Wheel Drive) and 4WD (4 Wheel Drive) are the two drive options for the 2021 Toyota Tacoma. These are available with different towing capacities’ while the 4WD manages 6500 pounds, the RWD can handle up to 6800 pounds.
Interior Appearance:
The Tacoma’s cabin gets a decent amount of equipment and even the base SR is stylish. Hard plastics and soft materials can both be seen inside. Its interior features include:
- Large circular front AC vent
- Cloth Interior
- Cruise Control
- Height adjustable Head Rests
- Black Leather Seats (Limited Nightshade)

How often do brakes need to be serviced?
How often do brakes need to be serviced?
The vehicle brake system is one of the most important safety features that allow one to slow down or bring the vehicle to a complete stop when it’s needed. But just like any other part of the car, brakes require regular maintenance and replacement so that you are confident about the brake system every time you sit behind the wheel.
Several components make up the brake system, and all of them are extremely necessary. But due to heavy usage, all of them wear out over time, which is exactly when a replacement would be needed for the brake pads.
Brake pads are known to apply friction to the routers, which causes them to slow down and eventually stop the wheels from rotating completely. Due to the weight of the car’s high temperatures online, please start school through a lot of stress and then become thinner after driving for thousands of miles.
When to service your brakes?
Certain guidelines depend on the manufacturer for the brake pad replacement. However, the general idea is that one should get the past replaced somewhere between 30,000 to 35,000 miles. But there are certainly other factors that either extend or shorten the life of the brake pads.
Following other factors that affect how long the brake pads will last and what you should keep in mind.
1. The Brake Pad Material:
The brake pads are made up of three main types of materials, organic metal, and ceramic. There are pros and cons for each of these that affect the brake pads’ performance and longevity.
Ceramic brake pads are great for people who must make hard stops especially driving in high traffic areas. They produce less dirt compared to organic brake pads and have a longer life span.
Organic brake pads, known as non-asbestos organic brake pads, are comparatively softer and do not make loud noises like the other types. However, they do wear out faster than metallic or ceramic brake pads.
Metallic brake pads are made of iron, copper, steel, and graphite. They are extremely durable, and I used them in most model vehicles. However, they are quite heavy, which means that they can affect the car’s fuel economy.
2. Highway Driving Vs. City:
Among other factors that affect your brake pads’ longevity, your driving route is one of them. Driving in the city means that you have more stoplights, and the roads are more likely to be congested. On the other hand, if you drive on highways that involve lesser traffic and fewer stops, it reduces the need to engage your brakes.
3. Driving Style:
A few drivers tend to use the brakes more often than necessary and aggressive drivers like that can stop the car abruptly, leading to the brake pads wearing down faster. To make sure that your brake pads last longer, you should gently use the brakes.
What to Bring to the Dealership when Buying a Car

What to Bring to the Dealership when Buying a Car
When you buy or lease a car here at Wyatt Johnson Toyota, we work hard to make your experience as efficient and stress-free as possible. In order to have a successful visit and drive home in a car you love, we need you to bring in the proper documentation. This allows the experts in our finance department to complete the legal paperwork and officially sign the car over to you. Keep reading to learn what to bring to a car dealership when buying or leasing a car and what’s needed if you’re trading in.
What Documents Do You Need to Buy a Car?
1. Your Driver’s License
Your license confirms your identity, but it also shows us that you can legally drive the car you’re acquiring.
2. Proof of Insurance
Car insurance is required by law in Tennessee (unless you fulfill the requirements that allow you to legally go without insurance — this involves a hefty payout and isn’t a common situation). We’ll need to see proof that you’re covered by insurance in order to sell you a vehicle.
3. Proof of Income
Please bring paystubs from your current job or any other proof of employment or income. These documents show that you’ll be able to make the payments on your vehicle if you finance it.
4. Proof of Residency
A utility bill or bank statement can work as proof of residency — it simply needs to have your name and address on it.
5. College or Military Documentation (If Applicable)
If you’re eligible for a college or military rebate, you’ll need to bring the proper documentation to prove your status. Visit our pages on the Toyota College Rebate or Military Rebate to learn more.
6. Payment Method
You’ll need a way to pay for the vehicle, whether you’re making a down payment or you’re paying in full. This can be a credit or debit card, a check, or a money order.
7. Loan Information (If Applicable)
If you have a loan from a third party (in other words, you’re not financing your vehicle through our dealership), you’ll need to bring loan documentation with you to our finance department.
8. Credit Score
Though not technically required, it’s helpful for you to be aware of your credit score before you visit us. If you finance your vehicle at our dealership, our finance team will run a check on your score to ensure your creditworthiness. However, having this information in mind while shopping will help inform your decision.

What Do You Need to Lease a Car?
The documents needed to lease a car are the same as those required for buying, except for the loan information. It’s helpful to have your credit score in mind for leasing as well.
What Do I Need to Trade in My Car?
If you’re trading in your current car for a new one, bring all of the documents listed above along with the following items.
1. Vehicle Title
The title proves that you’re the owner of the car and have the legal right to trade it to our dealership.
2. Vehicle Registration
We’ll need proof of the vehicle’s registration in order to transfer it out of your name, even if the registration has expired.
3. Keys
Don’t forget to bring in all copies of the car keys when you trade in.
4. Service Records
Finally, if you have access to the car’s service records, please bring them with you. Not sure where to find service information? Search your car’s VIN on CARFAX to see what service records are listed for your vehicle.

A base L model was being offer earlier, which has been scrapped now and the lineup starts with the LE trim. The 2018 model of the Camry has been tremendously refreshed and is now available in 2021.
Exterior Appearance:
At first glance, the 2021 Toyota Camry may look identical to the 2020 model, but a closer look will reveal the difference. Changes have been made to the lower bumper to bring out the bold looking grill (LE and XLE). LED headlights and LED daytime running lights are standard. The front fascia of the sportier SE and XSE has been redesigned as well. Fog lights are not available on none of the trims. LED combination taillights are partially smoked on top (LE).

How to do your Part to Support Environmental Protection
There are a lot of ways in which you can protect the environment, and these take very little time to do. You must commit to doing good for the environment, and you should stick to that plan.
These are some simple ways to become an active member of supporting the planet and doing something good for the environment. These can be done in your home and around you. You can also inspire and motivate others to do the same too.
- Conserve Energy:
It is a known fact the people love a little warmth in the winters and a bit of coolness in the summers, but if you adjust a little during the hot time of the year and it can make a huge difference. You can reduce energy usage by using light bulbs that last for a longer period. This is a great way to save money as well as energy.
- Conserve Water:
There are so many simple ways that can help you save water. While brushing your teeth, you can only turn on the water when you need it. Leftover water after boiling the potatoes can be used to water your plants. These simple ways can make a huge difference in protecting our environment because conserving water is one of the most important things that our planet requires.
- Use Environmentally Favourable Products:
Try to use products that are free of dye, preservatives, flavours, fragrances, and that are cruelty-free. If you are looking for different ways to save the environment, then you can take out some time to research environmentally favourable products.
- Compost Pile:
Food waste takes up a lot of space, but it can be used if you have a garden. You can start a compost pile, and all you need is to keep adding the food and yard waste to it. This fabulous compost can be used in your garden to add nutrients to your plans so that they grow healthier. You are not only saving the planet by reducing pollution, but you also are helping your plants to grow.
- Pick Up Litter:
This could be a great way of setting an example. The next time you step out of the house can carry a bag and pick up any litter you find along the way. Teaching kids how to take care of the environment is the next step in protecting it.
6. Use Reusable Shopping Bags:
Many stores charge a fee if you use plastic bags, and some stores will give you a discount if you have a reusable bag. You can use bags made of cloth or recycles materials the next time you go shopping, and most of these bags last for years.
It is never too late to make efforts towards environment preservation. For Volunteering opportunities go to https://www.tectn.org/ for more information.
Top Misconceptions and Myths About Buying A Used Car
Are you planning to buy a used car? If you are, it is essential first to ward off all the stigmas attached to the notion. Used cars have always been overshadowed by the new cars in every way. After all, some people don’t want to get ahold of a used car, due to some misconceptions.
Here, in this blog below, we will dispel some myths about buying a used car.
Top Misconceptions and Myths about Buying A Used Car:
Irrespective of whether you are an amateur or an expert, buying a car is not an easy investment. There are many factors to consider before venturing into that arena.
When it comes to buying used cars, things get far more complicated than usual. There are certain myths and misconceptions to ward off before buying a used car.
- You Should Pay in Cash to Score A Good Deal:
This is a myth that needs to be busted. Paying in cash indeed helps you shake off interest rates, but that doesn’t mean you get a good deal when opting for the former. When it comes to purchasing a car, buying a used vehicle isn’t different from a new one. Credit score and down payment play a great role and thus shall be the ones to look after.
- The Car Has Something Wrong with It:
Reliability is something that has nothing to do with trading cars. People buy and sell cars for more than one reason. Thus, if you think that the previous owners are getting rid of a vehicle for the wrong reasons, and then think again.
Other than that, if you are concerned about the car, then check its history with the Vehicle History Report. This will answer all your questions and lay your worries to rest.
- Used Cars Lack of Safety:
Unless and until you are investing in a classic or antique car, you need not pay attention to all the other thoughts. Used cars have a lot of safety features, which make them the best option for buying. Thus, this myth about the lack of safety features in the car can be easily brushed away.
- Used Cars Guzzle Gas:
The amount of fuel a car uses depends on a whole variety of reasons. It is starting from the size of the engine to the age of the car. Thus, if a car is well-maintained and then resold, there is a high chance it won’t guzzle gas.
New 2021 Toyota Tundra- Massive is The Word
New 2021 Toyota Tundra- Massive is The Word
Few vehicles look as massive as a Toyota Tundra, at least in terms of cars and pickups. One wonders if the phrase “Larger than life” originated from here or not. In terms of design though, the vehicle doesn’t quite look as contemporary as some of its rivals Ford F150, Dodge Ram 1500, and Chevrolet Silverado. Therefore, Toyota looks to target those buyers looking for no-fuss, tough SUVs instead of the ones searching for good looking vehicles. No owner of this vehicle will ever complain about lack of space.
Trims on Offer:
Buyers have several trims to choose from, while looking to purchase the 2021 Toyota Tundra. Here they are:
- SR5
- SR
- Platinum
- Limited
- TRD Pro
- 1794 Edition
A few trims also get two new packages on certain trims. Called as Nightshade and Trail, they can add a bold and dominant style to such trim levels.
Outside Appearance:
From whichever angle one looks at the SUV, large is the only word that strikes a chord. Those who like straight lines of design will appreciate it, as there are very few curves. The front grille appears different as compared to earlier and is divided into two parts.
Buyers would get to choose from 12 different exterior color options on this vehicle. Other than this, 5 color options are also available on the inside.
Engine Power and Related Specifications:
Few vehicles can haul loads as well as the 2021 Toyota Tundra, which has the capacity to tow a tremendous 10,200 pounds. One can tap into the 381 horses of the 5.7 liter engine to get this vehicle moving, with the help of a 6-speed automatic transmission. Tremendous amount of thrust is available for users of this vehicle.
RWD (Rear Wheel Drive) is part of standard equipment here, and 4 Wheel Drive is an option. TRD Pro is an immensely capable trim of the 2021 Toyota Tundra.
Interior Appearance:
Room available in the Crew Max style is massive, as close as one can get to living in an apartment. All trims of the vehicle are now fitted with 7-inch touchscreen infotainment systems, which get the latest apps. Once again, it’s an interior without too much fuss, with all the right functions. Temperature controls are massive and very easy to use.
Seating in the last row is adequate to fit in children easily. Other interior features include:

- Automatic high beams
- Forward Collision Mitigation

Events During Black History Month in Clarksville, TN
Events During Black History Month in Clarksville, TN
Clarksville is one of the oldest towns in the state of Tennessee, but it would be a grave mistake to regard this place as sleepy. It was founded in the year 1784, and offers a small town feel to visitors due to its historic architecture. The city is naturally beautiful, being located at the confluence of the Red and the Cumberland rivers. It is dominated by White residents, followed closely by African Americans and then Hispanics.
February is celebrated as Black history month all over USA and Canada, and Clarksville, TN is no different. Here are different events organized in the city to celebrate achievements and the inventions of African Americans over time and in the future:
- Black History Meet and Greet– Only the address of the place has been mentioned for the last year, but not the name of the building. This ‘Meet and Greet’ even is held with elected City Officials and persons in the Government. The event is further enhanced with the youth who talk about Black History, as well as with members of different Churches singing praises to the Lord.
- Artwalk– Art galleries which feature paintings by the African Americans will also be available for view during this time.
- Genealogy– One could attend Genealogy classes at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Library last year.
- African Diasporic Dance– In collaboration with the Hispanic Cultural Center and the APSU African American Studies Department, organizers aim to educate people about African culture and its influence on music, slave trade, and other aspects at the Wilbur N. Daniel African American Culture Center, Austin Peay State University. The place will also hold other programs for appreciation for African American culture.
- Wine Down– Enjoy wine tasting sessions that are held by well-known African Americans in Clarksville.
- Modern Day Slavery Forum– At the Wilbur N. Daniel African American Culture Center, a dialogue around modern day slavery is likely to be organized, much like on February 20, 2020. Such slavery can be seen in sports, the music industry, and other fields.
- Miss Black Clarksville Scholarship Pageant– Held at Kentwood High School, contestants here are judged based on talent, evening wear, sportswear, and interviews on stage. Contestants will also need to speak strongly about a platform and supplement it with community service.
- Makeda Street: The All Black Edition Open Mic– Visitors can celebrate this at Fort Campbell Boulevard Suite #C by wearing everything black from head to toe.
- NACCP 18th Annual Day on the Hill- NACCP takes children towards the Capitol Hill in Nashville to get a chance to speak to Legislators. In this way, Civics classes are connected to knowledge about functioning of the Government.
Apart from the above, one can also get to find out about Black owned businesses in Clarksville, TN. A variety of businesses can make several African Americans into role models. Some examples are as follows:
