When it comes to community service, not many are as impressive as the Clarksville Civitan Club. The Civitan Club does incredible work with 100 years of service and dedication to the Clarksville community. That’s one of the many reasons Wyatt Johnson has supported and sponsored the Clarksville Civitan.
Our most recent involvement with the Clarksville Civitan Club was sponsoring their 2022 Scavenger Hunt at this year’s River Fest. The fundraiser offered a chance for participants to explore and discover local businesses, support their community, and of course, win a prize of $10,000 and $250 cash drawings, all for a great cause. That great cause is a scholarship worth $8,000 for one lucky Austin Peay State University student, with which the Civitan has a long-standing relationship, with many of their current members also being alumni of APSU.
Aside from the Scavenger Hunt, The Clarksville Civitan also runs fundraisers that benefit the Civitan International Research Center. Located in Birmingham, Alabama, this center is responsible for a wide variety of successful research including into various disabilities, PTSD in veterans and abuse victims, as well as Parkinson’s. The CIRC is also responsible for a leading brain cancer treatment using spider venom.

The 2021 Toyota C-HR and the 2021 Nissan Kicks would have surely piqued the interests of all those seeking a tiny urban crossover. Both Japanese manufacturers produce capable vehicles, with Toyota’s reputation for dependability being stronger. The Kicks, on the other hand, outperform the other by providing more space and better mileage. Let’s compare the two below:
1) Cargo Room- Expect to find a lesser room at the back of the C-HR in comparison to the Kicks. The Toyota C-HR has 19.1 cubic feet of space, but those planning to carry more cargo should get the Nissan Kicks, with 25.3 cubic feet of cargo room. Both vehicles can accommodate up to 5 adults, but the Nissan has a more comfy back seat than the Toyota.

6) New in 2021- While the Nissan Kicks’ front and rear appearance has been modified, the Toyota C-HR has seen significant modifications in terms of active safety systems. The latter is now available in a brand-new Nightshade trim. This trim features blacked-out exteriors and new black 18-inch wheels.
