2021 Toyota Tacoma

The word ‘Taco’ can mean two things in America- the Mexican wrap with vegetarian or meat fillings, and the nickname for the Toyota Tacoma. Yes, that’s how the pickup truck is lovingly called by its fans. This beefy looking vehicle is available with a spectacular automatic gearbox. It is a perfect alternative for someone who find it cumbersome to handle a full size pickup truck.

Trims Available:

The 2021 Toyota Tacoma can be purchased in one of the following six trim levels across dealerships in America:

  • SR (best work pickup)
  • SR5
  • TRD Pro
  • Limited
  • TRD Off-Road
  • TRD Sport

TRD is the name given to the performance-oriented versions of the Tacoma. The vehicle can be customized as per drivetrains, bed sizes, and cab sizes. Interestingly, Toyota offers 32 different configurations for the 2021 Tacoma.

Exterior Appearance:

It is easy to equate the 2021 Toyota Tacoma with a large member of the cat family that is about to pounce. Brand new LED headlights are visible on the vehicle, lending it a futuristic look. Customers will like the heated outside power mirrors that are available from the SR trim itself. Along with the headlights, the taillight designs also look aggressive.

Expect to find 20 inch wheels on the Limited Nightshade variant and with 16 inch TRD Pro black alloy wheels on the TRD Pro. A large gap between the fenders and the wheels helps during off-roading. The truck bed in the Nightshade edition gets a liner.

Engine Details:

Customers will get to see the 2021 Toyota Tacoma with two powertrain options. The first amongst these is a 2.7 liter engine which produces 159 hp of power and 180 lbs.-ft of torque. If this does not seem adequate, there is a more powerful option- a 3.5 liter V6 engine with 278 hp of power and 265 lbs.-ft of torque. Two transmission options are also available- a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. Those who need to drive frequently on difficult terrains should choose the manual transmission.

RWD (Rear Wheel Drive) and 4WD (4 Wheel Drive) are the two drive options for the 2021 Toyota Tacoma. These are available with different towing capacities’ while the 4WD manages 6500 pounds, the RWD can handle up to 6800 pounds.

Interior Appearance:

The Tacoma’s cabin gets a decent amount of equipment and even the base SR is stylish. Hard plastics and soft materials can both be seen inside. Its interior features include:
