Drivers may not recognize all these features one day, but this decor is guaranteed to keep the owner proud in the future. On the other hand, Nissan has a great here's fresh and hands-on engineering proposition. The Rogue's wide rear doors make it easy to get in and out. There are no controls in the luggage compartment for folding down the rear seats on the RAV4 and no controls in the luggage compartment. The front seats are among the most comfortable in an SUV in this price range. under the center console is responsive and useful. Another unique Nissan feature of this clutch is air conditioning in the rear seats. While the RAV4 offers an 8.0-inch touchscreen, the Rogue offers a larger 9.0-inch infotainment system.

A tire is being checked to make sure it is ready for the road.

Why You Should Check Your Tires Before the First Frost

As the crisp air of autumn begins to settle in, it’s easy to get swept up in seasonal festivities and forget about one of the most critical aspects of vehicle safety—your tires. Before the first frost hits, taking a few minutes to inspect your tires can make all the difference in how your car handles icy roads, sudden temperature drops, and unpredictable weather. It’s not just about safety—it’s about performance, longevity, and peace of mind. If you're unsure where to start, check out these service specials and coupons to make tire care more affordable. Why Frost Changes Everything When temperatures dip below freezing, tire rubber becomes less flexible, reducing traction. This is especially dangerous if your tires are already worn or improperly inflated. Frost can also lead to black ice, which is nearly invisible and extremely slippery. Having tires with good tread and proper pressure is your first line of defense. Start with a Car Maintenance Checklist Before winter sets in, your car maintenance checklist should include: Checking tire tread depth Inspecting for cracks or bulges Verifying tire pressure (cold weather lowers PSI) Rotating tires if needed Ensuring proper alignment These steps help ensure your tires are ready to grip the road when conditions get slick. If you’re not comfortable doing this yourself, searching for a tire shop near me can connect you with professionals who’ll do it right. What Are the Signs That My Tires Need to Be Replaced? If you notice uneven wear, shallow tread (less than 2/32 of an inch), or visible damage like cuts or bulges, it’s time to replace your tires. Vibrations while driving or poor handling in wet conditions are also red flags. Don’t wait until you’re sliding through an intersection to realize your tires aren’t up to the task. How Often Should I Change My Tires? Most experts recommend changing tires every 6 years, regardless of mileage, and sooner if tread wear is significant. However, driving habits, climate, and road conditions can shorten that timeline. Regular inspections—especially before winter—can help you stay ahead of problems. What’s the Difference Between All-Season, Winter, and Summer Tires? Understanding tire types can help you make smarter seasonal choices: All-season tires: Designed for moderate climates, they offer balanced performance but may struggle in extreme cold. Winter tires: Made with softer rubber and deeper tread, they excel in snow and ice. Summer tires: Optimized for warm weather, they provide excellent grip but harden in cold temperatures. If you live in an area with harsh winters, switching to winter tires before the first frost is a smart move. You can find the right fit using Toyota Genuine Parts for quality and compatibility. Schedule Your Tire Check Today The first frost is a wake-up call, not a deadline. Being proactive can save you from costly repairs, dangerous driving conditions, and unnecessary stress. Whether you’re due for a tire rotation, replacement, or just a quick inspection, schedule service before the cold sets in. Still have questions? Reach out through our contact page and let our experts guide you through winter readiness. Your tires are the only part of your car that touches the road—make sure they’re ready for what’s ahead.

Celebrating Student Success: 17th Annual Pass & Go Event at Wyatt Johnson Toyota

On August 2, 2025, Wyatt Johnson Toyota proudly hosted the 17th Annual Pass & Go Event in partnership with the CMC Education Foundation. Held at our dealership in Clarksville, TN, this year’s celebration was the biggest yet, with over 1,124 Clarksville School District high school students in attendance. Pass & Go has become a cherished community tradition, highlighting the hard work of students who excel on their Advanced Placement (AP) exams. Each year, students are recognized not just for their academic achievement but for the dedication and perseverance that will carry them into bright futures. more How Pass & Go Works For every AP exam a student passes, they receive one ticket to enter the Pass & Go giveaway. This year, hundreds of students and families arrived bright and early, excited to participate in the event. To kick things off, we hosted a scavenger hunt throughout the dealership. Students and families explored the lot, completing fun tasks such as finding the price of an oil change or snapping a photo inside their favorite Toyota vehicle. After finishing the scavenger hunt, students could turn in their cards and claim a piece of Toyota swag - a small but memorable keepsake from a day of fun and recognition. Once everyone was checked in, the real excitement began with a prize drawing. Students had the chance to win: Zaxby’s gift cards Exxon gift cards courtesy of Beach Oil Company Laptops and iPads sponsored by Google and Jostens The energy in the room was electric as winners were called, each prize bringing cheers from students, parents, and teachers alike. The Grand Finale: A Toyota Corolla Giveaway The highlight of the event came when 10 lucky students were chosen from the drawing to move on to the Toyota Corolla giveaway. Each finalist picked a car key, one of which would start a brand-new Toyota Corolla sitting on our lot. Noah Thompson, a senior at Montgomery Central High School, was the second student to try his key – and this year’s winner. As soon as the car roared to life, Noah jumped up in celebration, throwing his arms in the air. “I’m shaking,” he said. “I don’t even know what to do.” Noah’s reaction was pure joy, a reminder of why this event is so meaningful to our community. To make sure no one left disappointed, Wyatt Johnson Toyota gifted laptops to the remaining nine finalists, ensuring every student who made it to the finale left with something valuable to support their academic journey. Why We Do It At Wyatt Johnson Automotive, our mission extends beyond selling cars; we believe in investing in the future of our community. Earlier this year, we were honored to partner with the Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation and the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System to present teachers with a District Teacher of the Year award. Education is the foundation of growth, and recognizing teachers and students who work hard and achieve academically is one way we give back. For 17 years, Pass & Go has stood as a symbol of our commitment to students and families in Clarksville and Montgomery County. This event is about more than just prizes. It’s about celebrating effort, achievement, and potential. “To see the expression on Noah’s face was exciting; it was priceless,” said Brian Burkeen, Wyatt Johnson General Manager. “We had no idea when we started this 17 years ago that we’d still be in this program. We are proud to be a part of this event annually; it is one of our favorite events.” Our Partners in Celebration Pass & Go would not be possible without the incredible support of our partners and sponsors: CMC Education Foundation Zaxby’s Beach Oil Company Google Jostens CDE Lightband Together, we created an unforgettable day for students and families, reinforcing that hard work pays off and that the community is behind them every step of the way. Looking Ahead The 17th Annual Pass & Go was our biggest and most successful community event in Clarksville yet, but we know it’s only the beginning. As more students take on the challenge of AP exams, we look forward to celebrating even greater numbers of achievers in the years to come. At Wyatt Johnson Toyota, we’re honored to play a role in these students’ stories. Whether it’s through a gift card, a laptop, or even the keys to a brand-new Toyota Corolla, Pass & Go is about giving back in a way that matters. Congratulations once again to Noah Thompson and to every student who worked hard and earned a spot at this year’s celebration. Here’s to continuing a tradition of excellence and community pride.
