Our whole thing is making life easier with a brand new Toyota. But shopping in person has become a more weird experience, and many have switched to online for their shopping needs. However, online shopping is only as good as the programs that are available to you. So our teams at Wyatt Johnson Toyota added something that makes online shopping as good, if not better, than in-person shopping! Welcome to the At-Home Test Drive!  

That’s why we are now introducing our At Home Test Drive program.

It’s as easy as this:

  • Step 1

    Search our online inventory and select the car YOU want.

  • Step 2

    Schedule your appointment and pick the time, date, and place that works best for YOU.

  • Step 3

    Await your confirmation call or email from one our friendly team members to confirm the details of your appointment.

  • Step 4

    Take Your At Home Test Drive at the place and time you designated! It’s THAT easy.

When you’re done, you’ll only have to decide between these two options:

That’s okay! We can take it back to the dealership for you and if there’s another car you had as a backup just let us know. There’s no limit to how many of these at-home test drives you can do and since they are available at no extra charge, you can do as many as you need until you find that perfect car!      

Why You Should Choose The At Home Test Drive

We created the at-home test drive because we realized that many love shopping from home, but it’s hard to commit to a car when you’ve only ever seen it through a screen. And if you are trying to be as careful as possible during COVID-19, you probably want to avoid coming into the dealership as much as possible. So we made it so you can still test out a car while protecting your health. 

The at-home test drive works the same as a regular test drive, just better. With this program, any car you find in our available new Toyota inventory or used car selection is eligible. Just let us know where and when you’d like to request the test drive, instead of scheduling a time for you to come into the dealership. Once your information is submitted, one of our team members will be in touch to confirm the details, and as long as you are within 20 miles of our Wilma Rudolph Blvd location, which includes parts of Pleasant View, Adams, Cedar Hill, and more, we’ll be by with your preferred car! 

While you have the car of your choice, you have the freedom to drive it around wherever you want within the allotted time! So feel free to take it on your regular commute to work to see how it handles the road, your neighborhood block, city streets, wherever you think you’ll get the best feel for the car. If you want to move forward with the car, just let us know and you can hold onto the car while the buying process finishes up. If you don’t like the car after the test drive, we’ll take it back to the dealership. If there’s another car you’d like to try out, just go through the scheduling process again and we’ll bring your other preferred car right to you. 

However, there’s also a third option. If you got through the test drive and you’re still not sure about the car, we’ll let you hold onto the car overnight. This way, you can drive it around again, take someone else with you to get a second opinion, and just mull over the decision a bit. Buying a car, new or used, is a big choice and you should be 100% satisfied with it.
